Army of the Pharoahs come through with thier third album, this one called ‘The Unholy Terror”. The original release date was pushed back to Feb 16 of this year. The album has got people just waiting, looking to see if any tracks are leaked, looking if anyone has posted any new videos of the album on YouTube. UndergroundHipHop.com hasent even put up a tracklisting for the album, im sure thats done entirely to prevent the masses from downloading tracks that have possibly been leaked on the internet, its harder to find a track if you dont know what is called right? Its all good, the crew always puts up sick albums and its only right they try and cash in on as much dough as they deserve. I mean you have…. Vinnie Paz, 7L & Esoteric, Outerspace, Chief Kamachi, Apathy, and Celph Titled….What do you expect? Of course nothing but heat. We got invited to do an online Project i Clothing Interview on Neither World RADIO! They wanted us to come in to ask us a few questions about Project i. What are the Origins of Project i…Where did the name “Project i” come about…and how is Project i Clothing keeping it different from other clothing labels? These are a Few of many questions that were brought upon us on this live interview.

Mega7981 (Shown Above) and his Partner DJ Playmaker AKA Buck are the voices behind the website. A two man team, but there are always special guests in the house that give the show a good live vibe. The talk ranges from sports, to DJ life, to HIP HOP.

I walked in the spot and was greeted by Mega and DJ playmaker as Mega played a boxing game on the XBOX. Food and Beer was available so you know i dug in just to get a comfortable. The vibe in the spot is extremely chill…Food and beer were made available by mega, a flat screen sat in front of me as i watched ESPN, and meanwhile guest DJ’s, DJ Noez, Dj Robert Change, and Dj D-Side did thier thing on the tables, I felt like i was at home, very chill.

” W’e're just trying to put out some dope clothing for people to rock….” Ces-

What i enjoyed about the interview is that its wasn’t one of those one-on-one interviews, Nah! Everybody in the place grabbed themselves a mic and everyone goes live on air, fuck it. Everybody in the place hit me with different questions and shit got real halirious at times with the interview, It was really dope being at the spot. I want to give a special thanks to MEGA7981 for the invite, DJ playmaker, My brother DJ NOEZ, D-SIDE, and the Homie DJ Robert Change.

If you youre not up to game on the whole Bboy scene, allow project i to give you a qucik run-down on the crew thats been holding down California for the past 10 years– The KnuckleHeadsCali crew! Project i clothing went in search of the dopest crew that was “Gutter” enough to represent our label. There are so many individual bboys out there that are innovating that dance and taking it to extreme levels, but when all was said and done the KnuckleHeadsCali took that title. Not only do we support the crew but Project i makes sure the crew is always looking fresh with custom made knuckleHead TEES! And if when youre traveling city to city, state to state, and country to country, you gotta look fresh…wouldnt you think so?

The lineup of featured MCs on the album gets ridiculous, i mean, its just too much talent on just one album. let me cough a few names out…….ILL BILL, Sabac Red, Block Mcloud, Outerspace (Crypt and Planetary), Reef the lost Cauze (AOTP), La Coka Nostra, Savage Brothers, Lord LHUS, Sicknature….you want more names? youre just going to buy this album cause im only halfway through.

The snowgoons are based out of Germany but their production has got MCs pheening across the globe. Their beats range from slow orchestra-like beats that get the mind thinking, to crisp rythm bangers, to fierce dramatic beats with heavy kicks and snares that get your bloodflow going. Expect heat with every beat….and more than anything expect super high quality. Snowgoons are definitley raising the bar…and theyve raised it pretty fuckin high, most wouldnt be able to touch it if they had a stick in their hand.

You need to pull that $20 dollar bill out youre pocket and get this album, that is out now!. This album is on the razors edge of underground scene , anything before this..might as well be considered obsolete—Snowgoons “THE TROJAN HORSE”

“MUTILATOR” by BOXGUTS and WILL TAUBIN

Johnny23 records puts out “MUTILATOR” the album put together by BOXGUTS and Will Taubin. BoxGuts..BoxGuts…Why does that name sound familiar? Well BoxGuts has been putting in work as an artist…way before the dropping of this album. He’s been “Mutilating” canvasas from his hometown of Brooklyn, NY. His art does not consist of clean symmetrical pieces that your girlfriend finds ” so beautiful”…but rather the complete opposite. Looking at his works is literally like looking inside your main organs. If you look closely at his works youll be sure to find a couple eye-balls, a couple dirty nails, and some brain tissue. Gives new meaning to the Fine arts doesnt it.
This album translates his paintings into an audible form for us to feast on. Incredible amounts of lyrics are layered on top of eachother throughout the 17 tracks on this album. His style is delivered forcefully and aggrressively yet it makes your head bop with soothness. Much props on the beats…I was really impressed by the production work on this album. The first couple tracks have thick baselines that Boxguts rips on. Then, the journey begins…like an uncontrollable disease…the beats start to spread into different realms, each beat sounding entirely different from the one before it. Track number 7 called “Electric Termite Mound Structure” alone takes you on a ride…Boxguts spits it thick and heavy…and the beat changes form throughout the track. You double check the track number thinking youre reaching the end of the album only to realize you’ve been taken on a journey by just one track. A couple of instrumentals are embedded in this album, all get your mind going on some creative think mode that will encourage you to build a time-machine. I am sure this album is entirely different from the last 20 albums you’ve copped…with that being said…id give this album five middle fingers that that’ll finger-fuck you out of normality. original indeed. BoxGuts and Will Taubin defintitley Keep it Gutter!

Project i Clothing teamed up with DJ Erik Mota at club spice to promote the Project i new line and to promote Erik Mota’s Pick your poison Vol.2 album. The turn out was insane, the club stayed packed till people were kicked out. Dj Erik Mota ripped on the turntables and the hunnies got crazy. A run-way was set across the dance floor and girls walked across reppin no other than, yes…Project i clothing. These girls seriously got GUTTER with it. Check the pictures below that we captured from this night. Many heads came out to support and party with us, We appreciate the support from all those who came out.
